The idea is quite simple: They play continuously for as long as people pay them to do so (The rate is something like $300/hr). All of the money goes to Child's Play, the charity created by the Penny Arcade people, which donates games, toys and books for sick children in hospitals across the world.
Even if you have nothing to donate, the live drivercam is very funny.
