Why do you have two separate downloads for Virtual PC and Real Hardware?

I'm impressed. Working GUI, networking... much more than I have so far. Although, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like from the source that everything is still running in kernel mode. The kernel also seems to need quite a few libraries from the system to compile - you may run into some problems with the shifting sands of using traditionally usermode libraries in kernelspace (i.e. APIs may change, things may break on other systems, especially deadly deadlocks may occur if trying preemption). You may want to read this: http://wiki.osdev.org/James_T._Klik.

Thanks for the reply. Yes you are right. It doesnt have syscalls yet. This is planned to be implemented.
I know this posting of James T Klik :)
Just finished integrating 16 Ethernet Drivers into the kernel.. will upp it when some more work was done (hopefully syscalls also).

Hi

It doesn't work with Qemu. I tried in Virtual PC and it boots up fine and I can play around with it for a bit. It crashes with an invalid opcade error after a few minutes (I was writing stuff in the terminal when it suddenly stopped working . shortly after the entire system crashed). The terminal doesn't seem to respond to input - I tried 'ls'.

You should provide some documentation so it is easy to discover what your system can do.

Well, it doesn't do much, but it's stable!

The terminal doesn't do anything under VirtualBox. It also starts up with strange colours instead of the white background, but it changed to white when I started typing.

I wish I could add more tex
