so, i'm new here.
i've got some experience in C++ and i wanna make my own OS.
where can i write code? is notepad++ good?
that's all I need to know

How can you have exeprience in C++ if you don't knowe where you can write code? Yes you can use notepad++, whether it's good or not is a matter of preference.

...and probably you are not up to the task of writing an OS.
