OS development in C# template (I have one)

Post by Axalto »

Yay, it's true!

I've found a ready to use C# template (Visual C# 2008)
URL: http://www.gocosmos.org/Docs/UserKit/index.EN.aspx
I've tried it and after 3 minutes in QEMU:

Congratulations! You just booted AOS (Advanced Operating System).
This version of AOS is the first 'advanced' version.
The first version doing somthing is coming soon.

Press a key to shutdown... or the anykey, if you have one.

YAY! (but borring)
There is a demo with colors. ( )
Don't keep looking to this post!
Go start to make your own kernel!

Sorry for my bad English, the only language I can write without misstakes is C++.

Erm...

You didn't write a kernel. You are booting the Cosmos kernel and have it execute your output.
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.
