Hi!
We're proud to announce the next version of yaOSp, 0.0.2! You can download the bootable CD-ROM ISO image from here:

This release has a lot of new features:
improved memory manager (faster and uses less memory)
improved filesystems (mounting from user space, symbolic links, time handling)
support for memory mapped files
enhanced system information displaying
module loading from userspace
ramdisk and ramfs driver
many shell improvements (full command line editing and history support with the help of the readline library)
improved terminal emulation (towards VT100: colors, cursor positoning, etc.)
working Python port (not included in the ISO image)
a few new applications: touch, makedir, remdir, remove, copy, symlink, uptime, reboot, halt, etc.

Known bugs in this release:
typing a very long line to the shell will mess up the command line
Please don't report problems related to the known bugs here. All other feedback is welcome.

During the development of yaOSp 0.0.3, we found a bunch of bugs and the fixes for a few of them is also backported to the 0.0.2 release.
I just updated the download link in the first post with the newest version of 0.0.2. Please test it and feel free to give any kind of feedback.
