Got the Learn C++ Today book

ok everyone. merry christmas. "santa" gave me the book learn c++ today! thanks mom and dad!!!

ok, seriously, i am now going to start learning c++. ive read the introduction and i think i like whats coming up. the first sentence in the last chapter says something like this: you should be able to make your own program like this anyway.....(they are referring to making a solitaire game)

they say something like that. so, thanks for all the help on the other threads with advice and everything. thank you especially, to Tom for letting me know about this book. hopefully ill start working on the book in a few days. i still have parties to go to and gifts to open.

Now...he was talking about that he was making a solitaire game for his family...but after this book you could make one...but he shows you how to make a editor like the DOS Edit thing....

I haven't heard of this book. Is it good? I could use some extra help in C++.

It was good for me...I knew C++ after reading only one book...that one.
