SDL in Mac OS <8.6

I'm going to take a stab at compiling either Sarien or NAGI under Mac OS 8.1. I just checked out the SDL home page and they mentioned something about OS less than 8.6 was unsupported but worked... blah, blah, blah.

Anyone used SDL on Mac OS?

Anyway, I subscribed to their mailing list and posted the same question, but I figured redundancy would help my odds.

I got a reply from the libsdl mailing list. Evidently, the <8.6 problems have been cleared up for 8.x
