Merry Christmas!
Got a set of Star Trek DVDs (Time Travel themed) and an Epiphone SG, bright red. Real great guitar.

Re: Happy Christmas
After seeing the chaos that two weeks of cold temperatures and snow storms wreaks on Vancouver, I will never wish for a White Christmas again. I'm glad I spent Christmas in Phoenix.
Top three reasons why my OS project died:
- Too much overtime at work
- Got married

Re: Happy Christmas
Here in Brisbane (Australia) the closest we got was a little bit of rain. A classic Aussie summer day we had, nice and hot
Re: Happy Christmas
Hi,
Hope everyone had a Good One! Although some parts of the UK get a white Christmas, here in the South West we tend to miss any snow and get rain instead. Having said that, it was a very dry one this year with occasional morning frosts.
Cheers,
Adam

Happy late Christmas...
Here, it was almost no snow, but directly before the Christmas evening it started to snow pretty good. Heh, long lasting winter is typical here, but with a good delay at it's start. But because the snow was weak, it melted right on the second day. Five years ago, that's what I called a snow.. from 10 dec to at least 15 feb....

God damn, that was just too much snow.Colonel Kernel wrote:After seeing the chaos that two weeks of cold temperatures and snow storms wreaks on Vancouver, I will never wish for a White Christmas again.
Where around Vancouver are you, Colonel?
Re: Happy Christmas
'Had about two feet here around a week ago, then the temperature rose to mid 60, it rained for two days, and now there is none. (Although the temperature is back to the mid 30's.)
I love snow too: so sad to see it leave so quickly.

Re: Happy Christmas
I live in the SF bay area in California, and we rarely get snow. But we did this time, and quite a lot of it (relatively for here) (amounts to 1/2 foot in some places).
Sigh, I wish we got more snow here. But it's all good, I really like this climate. Doesn't get too hot in the summer, nor too cold in the winter.

Re: Happy Christmas
Hi,
Sorry ,I am late . I went home for chirstmas , enjoyed a lot. It was my first visit home after getting a job .
I enjoyed going to the church at midnight , I brought lot of crackers and cracked them till i became tired . Some of my cousins came from US , they were very scared of crackers initially , after some expert coaching from my part they were just doing good
Regards

Oh dear , you are too geeky for my taste. Anyways out of curiosity , Am I the first person to talk to you about Phoenix in a spirited manner ?? .Colonel Kernel wrote:After seeing the chaos that two weeks of cold temperatures and snow storms wreaks on Vancouver, I will never wish for a White Christmas again. That's Phoenix, Arizona, not Phoenix the MS compiler framework, in case there was any confusion.Shrek wrote:Oh dear , you are too geeky for my taste.
@Troy: I live near City Hall, around 16th and Cambie.

Re: Happy Christmas
There was absoltuely no snow in my town until the x-mas night when it started snowing - in the morning the snow was almost 1/3 of a meter in height. That was pretty unexpected and cool Right now, I'm on holiday, in Thessaloniki, Greece, visiting an old friend.Troy Martin wrote:God damn, that was just too much snow.
