Dear All
My name is Peter, owner of kingofcoders.com , we are planning to publish a programming e-megazine in china, which is a chinese language e-megazine. We are finding some volunteers to write some articles about OS development, we will publish it in english and chinese too, we will handle the translation. Is has no rewards in cash, but your name will be famous in china if your article is professional and useful. If you are interested, please email your name, intro, picture (if you want your face on the megazine) and article to [email protected]
Noted that, the article must be written by you. !!!!
thanks
from Peter

How long do you want it to be and what subject matter do you want it to deal with (anything particular?).
Also, if you want people to do this for the fame, exactly how famous are we talking here?

Re: os articles volunteer writer wanted
The de facto language of OS development is english. If you translate a random article into chinese, what will they learn from it? they will get a superficial idea of what's been said but since they lack the basics, they can't do anything meaningful with it. They will still need to know everything else in order to do anything meaningful.
So unless you want advertisements, you better teach your folks english rather than some subject for which they don't have access to all the information available.

I completely agree with Combuster.
