Fasm forum hacked

Its been a bad week for asm coders, as the fasm forum got hacked on its 5th birthday .
And the forums still not right .

were they running a custom CMS there? or was it a well known BB? all BB's have vulns, it just requires time to find them

Everything is hackable unfortunatly(In saying that , I know many on the osdev front no some really really technical ways of coding so I reckon immplement a new system with 100% your own code and it will be as secure as it can be ), I know this perhaps isnt politically correct but those guys would get alot more sympathy if they hit the sites of people resposible for DRM and such things(Just pure examples here to elucidate a point ) as opposed to hitting sites that are there to help the average person, and especially doing it on whats effectively a land mark for the site, my guess would be its someone who doesnt like the site perhaps for getting hassle somehow when they were on it, either way its bad! Sorry to hear about the site getting hacked
