Dex was mistaken then, The internal mouse is a PS/2 compatible.. the internal flash memory presents itself as a traditional ATA/IDE device, even the keyboard is generic.
Not exactly "porting", the correct term would be "testing" as bontanu said, fixing bugs in your implementation of drivers, or working around hardware bugs.

The point is, very simple, when a new device come along like this, you may in the end need to port (want for a better word) your standard x86 OS to it, BUT as reported by both me and bontanu, this device is a very standard x86, so is great for a small cheap OS Dev device.
You may find many copycat devices coming out, but each one will need test for a thumbs up or down as far as OS Dev goes.
So do not put words into my mouth.
