I started with clarinet at age 8, and started guitar at age 13.....I'm 15 now.
So, yeah, thats the Q...

I have played a lot of different instrument. Drums, guitar, base, saxophone, piano, some instrument i dont know what to call, etc.
Reacently I put new string on my guitar, and in that occation in made this track only using a crappy headset microphone and windows audiorecorder.

I don't play an instrument. I do enjoy doing audio recording/engineering though. I'm in the process of putting together a home recording studio.
I'd like to learn the keyboard, simply because it's the best way to control MIDI, and it fits in well with pretty much any music. Basically, it's a complement to my skills as an audio engineer. There are MIDI guitars and drums... but they're too expensive to be worth it.

I play the electric guitar (want to learn to play the acoustic), some bass guitar, and the cello. I also mess around on the piano every once in a while. Being that I don't have a home recording studio... Audacity is my friend when it comes to recording and mixing.

I've been playing instruments since I was little.
Started with recorder at the age of four "like every parent should". Stopped playing when I started associating it with annoying teachers and people who thought they were virtuose after a year. My parents had an electric organ, my grandparents had a piano but at that time i was too much like button-bashing and playing children's songs that I was only allowed to play with the damper pedal in study mode. At least I was free to experiment.
After dropping out of recorder lessons I joined a choir. It was fun and we gave some nice concerts. Including the part as child's choir on Matthaus passion, which was, at that age, awesome. Unfortunately, I had to quit when I entered secondary school and got conflicting times for classes, choir and sports. I tried to join the school orchestra with my self-taught keyboard skills, but it was too classically oriented.
The year before I got a harmonica. I've been playing it regularly, and my parents thought it would be a good idea to give me a proper chromatic harmonica. I was rather ok with it, and by next year I spoke the music teacher again and he wouldn't mind giving the school orchestra another try. I was found good enough and sticked in the orchestra for the rest of the time at school.
When I entered university all systematic musicmaking pretty much ended. I still play piano (there's one at my apartment) when I get bored with computers, but hardly as much as I used to do. I havent touched my harmonica for a year now. I did get addicted to Guitar Hero though
On the piano I play practically everything ranging from The Entertainer, John Miles, Michael Jackson to Kayak songs. I once tried to learn Rhapsody in Blue, but that was a bit too high a target. ATM I hope to master Toccata and Fugue in D minor at some point in the near future. (I can do the first three minutes after which my memory grows short)

I've been playing the violin for 2 years now... I'm still grade 1 though 
I'm taking my exam in June, so i can play better pieces!
I dont actually take lessons for the piano/keyboard, but yeah, I played around when I was little and I play them at school for the fun of it. My (general) music teacher says my pieces are quite good.... Don't see why, but I took the compliment

I play piano and violin. When I went to uni, I didn't have much time for them and got in to loads of bad habits. I've started violin again since, but can't afford a decent enough piano yet (I got to grade 6, so need something that can handle me practicing for grades 7 and
.
Nice thing about the violin is you can take it anywhere and orchestras always need them. The piano, otoh is slightly more versatile and is also good to know for accompanying other instruments.

I play piano, flute, and xylophone. I started piano at 5, and flute and xylo for high school marching band. I like piano the most out of all of them.
I play whenever I feel like it(which is a lot). Basically, I'll be at the computer for 5 minutes and then play some song that I like. Then I'll go back to the computer again and so forth and so on. It's pretty weird, but they are mutual antidotes for my boredom(Is that even possible?)
As for what I play... Well I play everything. Classical, Modern, Ragtime, Jazz, anything. If I like it, i'll play it. Let's see, right now I can play The maple leaf rag, entertainer, a thousand miles, hotel california, don't stop believing, american pie, bach's prelude no 8, waltz in a minor by chopin, waltz for debbie, Imagine, Linus and Lucy, Piano Man, and a lot of others I can't think of right now.
I also take part in the musicals at my high school so I play a lot there too.

I've been playing the electric guitar for quite some years now, almost quit it, and now took it up again last fall when I bought a new guitar (seven string 
). I've never had any lessons, however I do consider it to finally iron out my bad habits.
As of what I play - it's mostly metal stuff, the music I like to listen to as well. However, I find myself improvising to some random pop songs on the radio just as well quite often. For me the instrument is fun and that's what it should be like.
