Bios Not Detecting Floppy

Post by nekros »

Ok, The old floppy drive from my sister's computer didn't work(I thought) and I finally got a new one. Only problem is that this one also is not being detected by the BIOS. I tried switching the cords every way possible, thought maybe I don't have a floppy driver. None of these worked, there are only so many things you can try that I can think of, I searched google and nothing.
Do you guys know of anything else that I could do?

My motherboard is a GeForce 6100SM-M2

If it's not detected by BIOS, set it fixed then: 1,44MB in CMOS as Drive A. And if that wouldn't work, try another PC.
