Age of Conan Guild
hey,
just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be in a AoC guild called Fade to Darkness @ fadetodarkness.prophpbb.com.
If you haven't checked out the game or don't even know what it is yet, go to ageofconan.com. It's going to be awesome.

Huh... yeah.
WoW was my first MMORPG. And seeing how frustrated I became seeing an awesome game degenerate into a playground for retards, farmers, and narcists, it was also my last MMORPG.
To make any kind of RPG work, you need the right people. I prefer a couple of good friends around a table with dice and character sheets any time.

Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.
indeed lol.
I will choose FLUX/Munchkin/Cog over an MMORPG anyday, but since I don't usually have the oportunity or right friends to play those kind of games, I will play MMORPGs as well.

Munchkin is fun, but i rarely get the chance to play it.
As for MMORPG's I have played Entropia Universe (formerly known as Project Entropia) a lot and spend far to much money on it. The reason I got so addicted to it I think were that it was a game in a somewhat early stage of developement and it was exciting to follow the progress first hand, but then the progress kinda stalled.
I don't really play it anymore, but I do visit their website from time to time and the last time I watched a video demonstrating the new 3D engine they were going to impliment. Now this was fascinating stuff.
Come to thing of it I don't really play anything anymore. For many years I played Armagetron, which is a 3d tron like multiplayer game. It's more addicting than heroin, but really, when you think about it, it's the most boring game of all time. It's the same over and over again, but still, the only reason i stopped playing it was because of my crappy internet connection, which a latency which made it nearly impossible to play.
However, around May 1st I'm getting a brand new super connection and I won't be bothering you guys anymore.

This was supposed to be a cool signature...
The only time I really get to play those amazing cardgames is at Cons. =(

No, actually I would much prefer you coming over. I have a seperate room in the basement for gaming. (No, please no jokes about dungeons and "roleplaying" etc.)Combuster wrote:You weren't thinking I was seriously inviting you?
That's a deal, then.p.s. we all speak english
(Only half-joking. It's too far away for regular meetings, and one-time meetings usually don't see much gaming going on.)
