All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

Let's see what I have due this trimester in each class:

AI
- A bot (basically a C++ DLL that loads into a 2D arena program) that guides it way around a map (done), is good at 1 v 1 combat (done), and utilises hiding and intercepting tactics (not done).
- Some big research assignment on a specific type of AI.

Networking
- A chat program using UDP (extra marks for extra features - avatars, colours, etc).
- 3D Networked Game Environment (I'm thinking of doing a top down 3d space shoot-'em up).

Law
- A case study of a contract (I think?).
- An essay about Quality Management Systems.

Project Management
- A huge project that we're treating like a real business (Project manager, technical manager, creative manager, quality assurance, etc) and we've signed NDAs to not leak any info :X

Next trimester for our independent study I'm thinking of doing either:
- A ray tracer (like POV-Ray).
- A 3D free form physics sandbox (imagine Phun in 3D).

In the last trimester I'm going to apply for an internship. Hopefully I get it (I'll be shocked if I don't). Other years students have worked on game titles, VR simulators, military simulators, ... so I sounds like fun!
My OS is Perception.
