ok, its name time!
pick the name you think should be the title for the OS development magazine.
I'll keep this up for 2 days.
[EDIT] The poll is now closed. System Call won the votes! [/EDIT]

The problem with putting hacker in a name is that some people will get the wrong idea.
I should be speaking: considering my name.

I agree nothing with 'hacker' in it. I voted OSDev Magazine ... you want this to sound and seem professional

Yeah, but it's not just and OSDEV magazine. Though, that's where it is coming from.

Nooo, it's too awkward and OS-centric. I can imagine the scene:
Person one: "Yeah, you should read 0xAA55!"
Person two: "Erm... what?"
For me, it's System Call. It's short and catchy, implies geekiness, and lies conveniently on the boundary between operating systems and low level apps
Code: Select all

I voted system call too, it can actually be pronounced and it sounds kinda cool too.
This was supposed to be a cool signature...

System Call for teh win!
0xAA55 is a little too weird... plus its only purpose in an OS is for the bootloader...
