whoa... racism, touchy touchy lol. =)
If the board is black, then it is a blackboard, if it is white, then it is a white board... if it was orange, it is therefor an orangeboard.
African-American is no less derogatory than the word Black. I don't see the issue, their skin color is black, therefore they are black, my skin color is white, therefore I am white... seems kind of obvious.
I'm not usually refered to as caucasian-american, then again, I don't even know where caucasia is? =)
Most african-americans, were born in america... therefore they are just AMERICANS.

Wow, tell that to all the Purely English, Indian, African, Canadian, Brazillian and other Black's that probably easily out-weigh the number of Americans in total.01000101 wrote:whoa... racism, touchy touchy lol. =)

I never claimed it wasn't used in such a way.Tyler wrote:Oh, so you admit Americans is a term used to refer to Unied States Citizens?
In fact, I mention that I use it myself.Tyler wrote:Glad to hear it, because you never claimed to simply think it shouldn't be used;
Since I've explained the logic for those who can't/won't think critically, pretension should mean it would be easy to find a non sequitur. Since you did no such thing and farther indicate that it would be silly for me to have believed such logic several hours before, and this in itself is clearly silly, I must dismiss this as a defense mechanism.Tyler wrote:be silly of you to continue that line of arguing or pretend you always meant this.

We use to have a brand of matches produced by D*ck Smith called Dickheads. (See here for proof )
Edit: I wrote D*ck so the censor doesn't replace a perfectly legal name.

"Oh, so you admit America is a term used to refer to the United States".
How silly of me to accidently mention the Citizens instead of the country.
And you mentioned all that stuff in your response, not hours ago.
@MessiahAndrw: Nice use of censorship .

I never said that America wasn't used as a term to refer to the United States. No, my comments concerned a technicality.Tyler wrote:Haha, my mistake, allow me to rephrase i got slightly off topic.
