What OS should I use?

All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

From a users point of view, i have both 32bit and 64bit (including 64bit OS).
And the main difference is, that the 64bit is not as compatable with stuff, as the 32bit.
That's it.

But i found that mandriva linux 64bit is good.

About the best 64-bit compatibility would be with 64-bit Vista.

Hmm.. maybe that isn't exactly the case since using a Linux distribution you might be able to compile any drivers for your system. What happens if you have a driver designed for a x86 system and you compile it targeted at x86_64?
My OS is Perception.
