Logo

Post by crazygray1 »

I probablly shouldn't be thinking about this yet, but having a logo and everything else setup gives me a better sense of purpose for my Enkou operating system. What image editing software should I use to make a logo without having to pay a price like Photoshop?(In other words FREE!)

SOunds like project management tricks to me.

The kind of "we-are-the-heros" stuff to build strong teams & sell the project to the outside, eh?

just stick to os dev, there ain't no need to do drawing that early in the dev process.

but if you crave that stuff - take GIMP.

Where do people get the idea that I am trying to sell this thing. I don't even have a team to let you know. Usually I'm unorganized and don't know what I want for a project so I lose intrest. I'm trying to stay organized so that I don't lose intrest.

yeah id say GIMP if it needs to be free, adobe illustrator would be my choice though.

i havnt made a logo for my OS yet, but if you want to stay focused, i'd do as i was suggested to do: plan every little step before say 0.1 or 0.2 and go through them in rough order, crossing them off as you go

this helps you stick to the plan and also will make your OS better

Mine was done with POV-Ray, a 3D modeling program. Comes free of charge and is available for Windows, Linux and Mac.
