Critical section question

Post by BigA »

Can anyone explain the difference between "strict fairness" and "1-fairness" with respect to the critical section?
Thank you.

ahum, JAL, a little more friendly attitude might increase the forums popularity. Maybe for all you know he/she did so already but the answers were not satisfactory. If you are going to shoot with Google then at least provide some links you have found which give the answer.

No, I actually mean 'home work' as in 'school assignment', not as a figure of speech. I suspect, given the nature of the question (very little background, using terms he's seemingly unfamiliar with out of context), that the OP actually lifted it from a study assignment.
