BlueTooth Connection

Post by XCHG »

I have lots of MP3 files on my Laptop. I've also got a BlueTooth stack on this laptop. I wanted to know if it is possible to create a network somehow between my Laptop and PDA device so that I can stream the MP3 files on my laptop over to the PDA and play them there. I don't want to download the MP3 file on the PDA but to stream it over to the PDA and play it in realtime. Does anybody know if this is possible?

Thanks that was really useful. I read the Wikipedia page and I think there are some services that are provided by some BlueTooth stacks that are not by some others. For example, I have a variety of services for BlueTooth on my PDA which are not available on my Laptop.

I think I have to read more about this subject.
