I have been programming since I was eleven and I finally decided to create my own OS. I have been data hunting for a long period of time and finally settled on writing the code. I was directed here so that I can get some help of which I need a lot of. I am writing my system in C++. I have know idea where to start when it comes to writing the code so help would be much appreciated.

P.S. The website still needs alot of work.

I could run down my introductional speech, but Getting Started and all the stickies across the forum pretty much summarizes everything I would want to tell.

Enjoy

p.s. should somebody add your os' profile to the projects page or do you manage yourself?

I found the getting started thing right after I posted.

I'm new here so somebody else better add the profile. I don't want to mess anything up.

Right now I'm just trying to get something (anything) up and running. I am hoping to get some type GUI though (than again who isn't).

The site was just recently put up. I haven't had time to do anything to it yet.

Does anyone mind if I plug myself again? Don't mind if I do...

http://www.jamesmolloy.co.uk, for Bran-like tutorials that go a little bit further.
