SMS Warning System

Post by B.E »

Lately I've been busy, creating a SMS tsunami warning system.

No doubt you have heard about the tsunami that happened in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia (with a magnitude of 8.4) over night. This morning I woke up to a SMS stating that this had happened. In excitement I instantly got on the internet to find out weather this was true. And sure enough there is was, it had happened. It worked like a charm, and not only did it work on my mobile, it worked across the world.

my apologies if this reads as a advertisement.

You didn't say what you were trying to do?

OMG just I was writing that they mentioned the quake on TV.

Do you live in the area of the tsunami? Is the warning system suppose to message people in the area to run away? Or is it just to get you 'excited'?
My OS is Perception.

it's suppose to notify you if a tsunami occurs within your area and how you will be affected.

I was excited to see the thing actually working, and running.
