New Motherboard

Post by Pirogoeth »

Does anybody know where I might be able to find a reasonably priced (450USD or less)
dual am2 socket motherboard? It doesn't necessarily need a fancy onboard graphics chipset, but it would need access to fast memory like ddr2 800.

This is an awesome board but Im still kinda set on finding one that supports dual processors. Ive checked nvidia but theyre prices are outrageous, and the asus webite doesnt seem to have any of the kind I was hoping for.

Just thought I'd mention, Newegg only ships to the USA and Puerto Rico..

So, please remember GLneo - We're not all from the USA ;)

May I ask, why the dual-processor way and not the dual-core?

The local store doesn't have any AM2 multisocket boards, so I don't have any indication of any fun deals.

First hit on google: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=2320

The newer quad cores are gonna be insanely expansive.. I'll probably end up with Opterons on the dual sockets. AMD is just my preference over Intel
