Porting Open Source OS to New CPU and Hardware

Post by btbx »

I want to ask about a commercial project to port open source OS such as Linux and BSD to a new CPU and hardware platform.

Is there any professional, experienced company or team that can do the project with fixed budget and time limit?

Thank you.

Yes, I can do it.

However it depends a lot on the size of your budget, the length of your time limit and the exact specifications of the new CPU and hardware platform.

to Adam,

Thanks for your kind words.

The latest releases are "slightly unstable" so take care ;)

In the API reference section you will find an article named "A day with SOLAR_OS" that will guide you step by step...
