Why learn dutch? as i understand its rather difficult to learn.

I'm not really sure. I've got nothing better to do in my spare time, plus I've found Dutch Grammar, which is an awesome site on the subject.

I might even go there someday. Amsterdam looks nice...

What the heck is that supposed to mean? You speak "Canadian" ?

The primary/common spoken languages in Canada are English and French

But I don't know a single person who speaks French fluently where I am though..

It's a common American exaggeration of Canadians, Like the ones where they think we live in igloo's and wear a touque all year round..

LOL @Alboin and Brynet... I don't know where in Canada you are Brynet, but here on the west coast we actually make fun of central and eastern Canadian accents a lot. Like when the IT admin (who's from Ontario) says "server room", and it sounds like "server rum", I ask him to stop bogarting the Captain Morgan's.
