USB memory stick

Hi everybody :)

Is it possible to boot an O/S from a USB memory stick
and if so could you please point me in the right direction

I guess that it depends on your BIOS.
Maybe, I could have a look at the "Flonix" Linux distribution, which is like a "Knoppix" but on a USB memory stick rather than on a CD.

Otherwise, you could build a bootloader on a simple floppy disk with a USB loader for your kernel.
