;D

Seriously though, you're gonna have to be a bit more specific about what type of OS/GUI you're looking for.

Thanks a lot! I realy needed that.
If it isn't asking too much, can anyone tell me a website of a os with a GUI (any GUI at all) that fits in a diskette?
Or else, can anyone tell me how do i make a Bootable CD With my OS?

Oh, thank you all a lot! I need the os src to modify it and make my os, so i can be famous :-D for being the first kid with 15 years to make a os!

oh gosh, don't you dare bragging around with a MODIFIED os. But anyway, there is nothing like fame coming from *modifying* an existing os. Further modifying it doesn't mean that you 've actually made it. give credit where credit is due.

i feared he was planning on doing that. Heck, linus did it to tannebaum(spelling) with minix. But i think he gave credit.

Anyway, kid, code your own OS. If you knew the blood, sweat, and tears we shed just to get our OSes running with tasking you'd cower in your little corner. lamer...

no offense intended :|

however, if one can achieve its own goal by modifying an existing OS, why restarting from scratch ... I did restart from scratch because what i want to change (module loading & interaction, programming model, file system model, etc.) were estimated too complicated to modify by myself ...

about being famous ... well ... i'm not sure writing an OS at 15 will be enough. But don't worry: you've already become legendary on Mega-Tokyo just by asking questions :-p

But a chinese spell says:
the one who asks a fool is for five minutes.
The one who never asks a fool will be forever.

I WAS going to give credit to u ppl, but if you want me to make mine from scratch, when i am a newbie in c, ok.
Just because i'm MODIFYING the CODE, it doesnt mean i'm not going to give you credit.
So, good bye and see ya later.

Sadly enough, that doesn't keep people from trying. ::) :P :-\ :D
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

You all hate me , right?
anyway, i have an idea that will make us all happy:
What is i make a OS named UTOS (United Team OS) with the sources of any os, resulting on a amazing os, with the help of other developers?

Search for Freedows and BoxOS to see why this doesn't work. Projects like that (lots of developers, lots of ideas, no code) have always failed -- they get a nice shiny web site, but no work done.
