OS Development Tutorials in Semi-English.. are there any???

I mean, I understand the basic kernels, but bootloaders, interrupts, and other stuff like that i am really lost... i am new to the world of operating system design, and was wondering if there is any *real* simple, not confusing tutorials for operating system design.. if so where are they... thx ??? ???
