At least one can expect the magic word, Mr. Root, as Tim has said.

But, answer one question: What do you have to argue contra windows? windows of nowadays has except of some weird policies concerning serial keys and so very nifty and nice features.

Why do you intend to make a better os than this? Those guys have EXPERIENCE with that stuff. They know how to do it! I suggest you learn how to walk before you want to run.
