Palm OS?

Post by gtsphere »

I was wondering, has anyone heard of or even tried to change the operating system on a handspring visor or any of the palm os based hand helds? I think that would be an awesome adventure to try that, but i am completely in the dark whether it is possible or not? I hope someone knows!
thanks!

If I remember rightly, uclinux was originally run on a customized Palm III with extra memory added...

a friend of me made a real-time OS (called "expresso") for Palm. What he does is loading his own OS in ram, then using a small program (can't remember the name :() to run it instead of PalmOS.
