I was wondering, has anyone heard of or even tried to change the operating system on a handspring visor or any of the palm os based hand helds? I think that would be an awesome adventure to try that, but i am completely in the dark whether it is possible or not? I hope someone knows!
thanks!

Re:Palm OS?
If I remember rightly, uclinux was originally run on a customized Palm III with extra memory added...

Re:Palm OS?
a friend of me made a real-time OS (called "expresso") for Palm. What he does is loading his own OS in ram, then using a small program (can't remember the name ) to run it instead of PalmOS.

Re:Palm OS?
i remmeber when linux was working on palms, its a rom hack, they had a linux ROM because palmos wouldnt relinquish its control
still its known hardware specs, so it would be interesting to hack on.
