Hello,
I am reseaching OS's and will soon attempt to program one. Hopefully mine will originate on the Sega Dreamcast. If not....PC.

HELLo? HellO! ... well, I am just curious, is it only a thunder striking in your head? I mean the idea of developing an OS originated on Sega Dreamcast? I think there is no point in making one for console machines because as their name implies their only purpose is to play games, why write an os for them? I think writing an os for them will only constrain the resources that hardware has which diminishes system performance. Do you agree? Do you have info on developing software for game consoles? If you have I will be greatly appreciated if you share with me and other people who want to know about here... Thanx...

Well, you have to admit that since the dreamcast is equipped with keyboard and mouse (for some of their wack games) it would be REALLY cool to get a working OS for it, especially if you got a network card for it. I think it'd be Ubercool! 733t, if you don't mind me saying.

Yes, I do have the info www.boob.co.uk

I also have official Dev Docs. LinuxDC, NetBSD-DC, NewOS, Libronin, and of course KOS are all os's on dreamcast. Consoles are just as good for programming as pc's.

Programming gaming consoles....Why? Because the EE's did plan on anyone doing this with their designed hardware.
