I'm having a problem with converting british keyboard set 1 scan code to ascii.

I've been having problems around the ; ' # \ z keys. I've managed to get the # key working correctly, as this was originally mapping to \.

What is the scan code for \ ?

I don't know if this will help, not sure what scancode set it is, but its Uk layout.

as being in london, i have a british keyboard, its a subtle difference. was a re al pain when i first moved here. now its second nature.
