Hello, on the internet I fount the VMware 2.0 for free. Is that legal?

It came with sources to compile with a install shell script. Does that mean it's GNU?

If VMWare is free, ..... COOL

Thank you, ( and don't ask me for the link, it was erased in the last windows crash )

Well, if someone can tell me if it's legal, you could all use vmware (i'd search for the link again ), that means no more reboot -f's ;D

http://www.vmware.com/download/

Of course, VMWare is legal - no reason why not ;)
Anyway, you can also use "Bochs" for a good (probably more popular) alternative for VMWare, also a PC emulator

In order to use vmware, you have to purchase the license. That is if you goto their website.

I don't know if you can download it for free. If you can I would like to find out where so I can use it on my linux system. Im stuck right know because I have to use wine.
