I'm thinking of adding scrolling in my protected mode os. But before I do, I need to have some questons answered.

1. What is scrolling?

2. Why would I use it?

3. What does scrolling do?

5. Where can I find some examples on it?

To fit more text on the screen when you reach the bottom.

5. Where can I find some examples on it?
On Windows, start a command prompt and run "dir" repeatedly. On Unix, start an xterm and run "ls" repeatedly.
