Hi

All the books I have currently found out about programming the EGA, VGA and SVGA cards are out of print. Appart from having to buy second hand copies at extortanite prices (?75 at amazon.co.uk), are there any other resources that are as detailed as these. It would be helpfull if these resources has asm code as well as C but not required.

Otherwise, are there any books on the subject that aren't out of print?

Thanks
Steven Graham

Michael Abrash's "Zen of Graphics Programming" (republished as the Black Book) has a lot of info on VGA.

There is a "Master Class Assembly Language" book that has some good info including SVGA, but it isn't deep.

Mostly you have to find the precious few resource on the web. This topic has come up a number of times on this board. Do a search on this forum and you will find links.
