Hi!

Tired of javascript crashing your 800mhz computer ?

Menuet is a fully 32 bit asm written OS. It has a
16.7M color graphical interface and does
real-time multitasking.

All interested in 32 bit asm programming, welcome !

The hyperlink to  the .EXE file to install it to a floppy is bad. I would love to test your OS though!
I wonder if it would run as good as AmigaOS since you made it in pure assembly :D

Menuet is a very impressive OS. I was amazed by its USB support and the elegant GUI, all coded in Assembly. It definitely won't disappoint you.

I've uploaded the 0.43 install file to http://galaxy42.com/data/msetup.exe. Are you sure you have the executable named "msetup.exe"? It won't work if its renamed.

Great! I will test it ASAP, I am also making my own OS, but wont talk about it until I get more work done. I like the idea of OS's being programmed as GUI's from the grounds up, like AmigaOS and AppleOS.

It doesn't work for me =(...

I tested it on 3 different computers and all of them say that the video card is too old or something like that. The one computer said it had a v1.2 video card and your OS said it must be a v1.0 or newer? Well 1.2>1.0!! Anyways, maybe I could find a better computer and try it on that. The OS looks very good from the pix, so I sure hope I can try it.

Hello

We're looking for a graphics/window designer for menuet-os. The purpose is to get the most of 16.7M colors and make different skin types possible etc. We're relying on your imagination.. :)

:'( I've got two computers I tried to boot minuet on...
One: Dell, 500MhZ, 800X600. Boot: Setup, runs fine. I nat. selected the high stuff, thinking this was more of a DOS-GUI than anything (once it FINALLY booted, I found it IT'S NOT). Booting (is there any way this could be SPEEDED UP a little ::)) and it said the graphics card [on my computer] didn't support so-and-so. So I tried the NEXT BEST. Same thing. Eventually I ended up pressing 9 1 2 2. It booted, but on my little monitor it was pretty small. Y?
???
Also: DOS [IBM PS/2]. Setup runs AOK, then it restarts, and runs setup again! And again! I have a HD, a 16MhZ, so I don't know y it does this. So, y does it do this? ???

Hi Ville!

Remember me? Some months ago I promised you to do the graphical stuff for MenuetOS. We wrote some mails, then I never did again. The reason: I'm to stuck with my own projects. But it feels like the right time to apologize for promising something and then not doing it... Sorry!
