Can I Test an OS This Way?
I was wondering if there is any way to install an os on a computer with an os already installed on a computer with a full disk partition. In otherwords, run an os within an os. I am running an XP service pack 2 system with a 40 gig hd 1.40 gig intel celeron processor, and 512 megs of ram if this is needed to help me out. thanks.

Install your OS onto a disk image and use an emulator to run it.
I also put my OS stuff onto floppies and boot from them

But remeber that emulator is NOT a real computer. For example I have got floppy driver which work on emulators, but don't work on real machine. So, always test your OS also on real machine (till your OS is small you can do it using floppies)
