I'm posting because I'm not sure of the etiquette of deleting or editing content in talk pages, but Talk:Projects is a mess with some misleading info.
Here's the issues with my opinions/questions on what to do about them:
Mirroring ignores the CC0 license and its example link has been dead for at least 11 years. Perhaps rewrite it as a suggestion to reflect the CC0 license.
Format is is correct to insist on alphabetical order, but otherwise out of date, ignoring the template we use. Perhaps the template should be included here as a code block.
TODO...
The wikipedia entry should link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_o ... tems#Hobby if we're going to keep it. We don't list everything it lists. Or perhaps we should just link that on the main page. (Less work ftw!)
xos is a dead link (timeout) -- just remove?
comos is already on the abandoned projects page. remove.
Should we remove the section altogether?
Dating has been done and continues to be updated. Remove.
Entry Template is misleading. It's substantially different from the template presently in use. I think we should remove it and add the correct template to Format as above.
Dead Websites is fine. Keep, but perhaps add reply with what to do if the code is not archived. What should that reply be?
About dead websites is a confused unsigned reply to the previous. Remove and consider moving the essence of its content as noted above.
Suggestions and differences of opinion welcome.

In terms of unarchived websites and source code, my suggestion would be that if the only link available for a project is archive.org, then the project should be considered abandoned and can be removed from the projects list and moved to the abandoned projects page.
