I thought Serious Sam had a great "oh sh.." factor.. I can't remember how many times I had thought I'd seen the most number of enemies and then it lumps even more on you!

I have to vote Shadow Warrior because of the hilarious quotes..

"Ancient Chinese Secret!" -finding a secret area
"Ahhh, better than acupuncture!" -getting a medical kit
"Lo Wang come for you little snake coward!!" -beginning of the game
"Who put these here! OW!" -walking over sharp spikes that YOU put down

I3D forever! A 3D game that makes your eyes feel boiled after 3 minutes, gives you a headache after 5 minutes and God, Allah, Shiva or whoever knows what else it might do after 10 minutes is unique. There's only one such game and it's called I3D.

(single player has zombies. YAH!)

Duke Nukem 3d because an editor is enclosed with the game, not Half-Life.

My choice is Unreal Tournament.

...and Soldier of Fortune II is another great game (which I made maps for if your curious).

"Huh? Must be American Made." -Shadow Warrior

"Your face, your @$$... What's the difference" -Duke Nukem

I'm going with Unreal Tournament, too. I'm not a big fan of the fps genre, but I got hooked on that one in no time.

I also like Halo, although it doesn't have the replay value of UT by a long shot.

There are editors on the net for Duke Nukem 1 too.

I love the game! Even more than DN 3D.

There're editors for Half-Life, Quake 3 arena even for doom 1,2 but you'll need to download them on the net.

The editor of Duke Nukem 3d is enclosed in the cd-rom.
