How does google go about adding sites to their search? I never listed my site to any search engine but somehow my site came up in the google search engine. How did they find it to add to it in the first place. I am happy that it is in there but am curious as to how it got there.

Ether they run a "bot" that looks for info all over the web(like
www.hotbot.com ) and adds it to their site or someone else subbmited your site to Google.

It must have been the bot thing because who would have submitted my site? I don't think anybody would have submitted my site that is not really logical. From what I can see they took the picture of my site at a bad time. They took it while I was inbetween changing the name. The link they put to my site says Chris's AGI Web Site but the picture of my site says The Ultimate AGI Web Site. Is there anyway I can go about fixing this incorrect link?

I am not trying to add my site. Try searching for the string "Chris's AGI Web Site" see all those names that come up. They are incorrect. My site changed its name it is now called the Ultimate AGI Web Site. I need to figure out how to get them to change it to the correct name.

Then try this:
http://www.google.com/remove.html
And no it's not just for removing a site.

I think I know what the problem is but I will need to update my site to fix it. Since my site uses frames I decided when I renamed it to just rename the <title></title> that was in the frames page. Most of the pages that they linked to have the frames missing which means that the title would say my old sites name instead of the new sites name. Hopefully my changing this will fix it next time the use the bot to search for pages.

If that doesn't work, then research the meta HTML keyword. I think if you use it right you are supposed to be able to give bots specific info about your site.

I am going to try adding all of the <meta> bot stuff I found on that page to my site. Hopefully next time they do their "Web Crawl" it will get the right name for my site. On a funnier note it seems that a nickname I got from the admin at a message board appeared in the search. I am the demented scientist. I just thought that was real funny that my nickname from that board came up.
