So.. Who has seen in and what did you think? big cheeesy 'game' trailer? did it feel like a real movie?

Whats your thoughts on it? I've only seen the exntended trailer yet, but... It does not grab me, I'd rather have real animation (anime), not 100% CGI, or 'real' actors.

This CGI stuff does not grab me much...

It is utterly horrible. For the love of God, if you must watch this film, do so under the influence of alchohol, or with a friend you can make fun of it with. It doesn't even have any of the Final Fantasy atmosphere. It's a science fiction CGI shitfest. You could give it another title and it would make no difference whatsoever. Please Jesus, give me a reason to believe in you again...

I don't agree.
I think it was a quite good film. Eventhough the story is a bit cheesy, it can easily be watched for the effects.

I like Sci-fi very much. Much more than Fantasy stuff. It wouldn't be a very good film if they based it on Chocobos and magic. That's a little bit outdated.

People who want a great adventure type of film should not see this one. I think that many people expected that and became dissapointed.
But if you like odd and surrealistic stuff in movies, more than heroics, this is a film for you.

Actually, the film isn't good at all. I changed my mind.
I saw half the movie on a computer. Then I went to the theatre.
It is really quite lousy, predictable and clich?.

On the technical side, it was an amazing movie to watch. The old man was by far the most photo-realistic character. The plot and dialog could've used some touching up though.

I saw this movie and it was very boreing it has nothing to do with final fantasy they just used the name to sell more tickets and copies of it. The graphics I admit where good but every thing else was awful.
