You know the technology that allows you to create virtual keyboards and control panels using light that we saw being used in the movie "Final Fantasy"? Well, it has come to life.

Finally a keyboard that can't get crumbs stuck in it.

I don't know about everyone, but I tend to find that the little "bumps" on the 'f' and 'j' on the keyboard(US) really speed up my typing.

Just sand paper the surface you use it on and make a few bumps. ;)

They don't explain how it works, but if ends up that the light display is there only to display where to put your fingers and not part of the actual detection of what you 'pressed', then you could turn off just the light beam part and spook your friends with a 100% invisible keyboard.

But what happens when your fingers are just sitting on the keys?
