I have just updated my pc and now partcopy gives me problems that it cant write to destenation at offset 0; now this works though if it is a multiple of 512 such as this works
partcopy source 0 200 -f1 0
but this does not
partcopy source 0 3 -f1 0
does anyone know of a workaround for this
btw i'm trying to write a fat12 bootsector so it requires special legnths

well, a fat12 bootsector is 512 bytes so where's the problem? if you for some strange reason still need to write a bit more/less then that you could pad the file with zeros.
