How can i get hard disk image over than 500mb in bochs?

Hi ,Everyone
I need to run large hard disk image with bochs,it is over 500mb for bochs as normal, i use the vvfat mode ,but i failed to load the image,
Who can give me a good sample to load the large hard disk over than the 500 megabytes limited,and tell me what is the max size of your mode.
