Not really too sure how big it is... probably huge(it took me an hour to install microsoft visual studio... which has visual basic 6.0 in it... so I am guessing from that large load time that it is a huge ammount of mb.
Well I am not sure how much it takes up on mine, but I have the proffessional edition, so it probably comes bundled with tons of junk that I most likely will never use.
My Visual Basic folder is a little over 100MB. I install Visual Basic only because my Visual C++ requires that you install it first, so I go with a minimum install. Oh, and it's 6.0 pro.
the enterprise edition probably comes bundled with more stuff you'll never use than the pro edition. Enterprise is considerably more expensive than pro.

VB6 isn't required for VC6 to install. i only have VC6 installed alone. i don't even have office installed.
ummmm. what was i gonna say again?........ ummmm
oh yah. just a thought: would i be able to distribute vb games WITHOUT the pro edition? isnt there like a starter or begginer one? would i be able to distribute with that?
Oh, wait! I've got Visual Studio 5 not 6. Either way grey wolf, I'm sure your right, my disks always give me problems when installing anyway.
by the way, I know for a fact this is true for 5 and I'm sure it will be true for 6 soon....Back up your disks. I thought I had lost my disk 3, called microsoft, and they claim that they don't have any replacement disks for Visual Studio 5. Bastards. Not exactly a cheap program...I don't care how old it is they should still support it.
