I've added a page for listing relevant academic works, and added a few links (mostly to CiteSeer and Columbia University's Academic Commons) for a handful of papers. I have added the page to the main page under the 'Resources' heading.
And yes, I have several links to Alexia Massalin's work on Synthesis OS, mainly because I was reading them when the idea that such a page would be a good idea struck me. I may add a similar page for the Compiler Dev section, as I have a lot more academic work on on that than I do an OS dev so far.

Lisp programmers tend to seem very odd to outsiders, just like anyone else who has had a religious experience they can't quite explain to others.
