PIC - order of icws'

Post by JulienDarc »

Hello,

Just to confirm, the order in which we write the ICW to the PIC ports is important right ?

Because all the codes i've seen respect that order ICW1 ICW2 ICW3 and optionally ICW4.

I am sorry if my questions seems noobish, but the truth is they are :)

Bye

For your own entertainment, look at your code examples again. If you swapped something around, would the PIC be able to tell that you did just that?
