Booting with GRUB

Booting with GRUB

Hi everybody,
I have a "little" problem with GRUB. I tried building it on my machine (Windows 8 x64) with Cygwin, but I got lots of errors. So I downloaded a GRUB image from the internet, put it in a floppy image with my kernel and started Bochs. GRUB said that it couldn't find its second stage files! As a last thing I took the GRUB images in an Ubuntu .iso file and did the same things (put on a floppy image with the kernel, booted with Bochs), but I got the same errors as above. If you know how could I solve this problem, pleaase let me know. Any help would be really apreciated!

I have tool to make floppy image with GRUB/GRUB2 installed. But I recommend to use modified GRUB/GRUB2 with Yoda's boot loaders (search on this forum).
If you have seen bad English in my words, tell me what's wrong, please.
