There is only one operating system which is conquering the PC's world is Windows. The Mac Operating system is only for Apple PC's. The linux is a dummy one for many of the users. Why there is no new operating system is arising to conquer the PC's world(Like windows)?.

Is more knowledge is needed to make a operating system like Windows?

(OR)

Is many people is needed to make an Operating system who are having more knowledge?

Please reply me......

Developing windows/linux took incredibly long time with many people group. Also, there is just no poing of making a new serious rival for these OSes when they are fine.

... and BSD, and Solaris, and QNX, and ....

This is not a question about OS design; this is not even a question.

Because Windows has tons of programs for it and usually gets the job done without too much hazzle.

I think you're forgetting a few.
The linux is a dummy one for many of the users.
Have you used linux? It's a lot better (faster and more stable at least) than windows.
Why there is no new operating system is arising to conquer the PC's world(Like windows)?.
I sense a bias here...
Also, what about chrome, android, and a few less common?

I mentioned Android in the first place because it has a PC port and a larger userbase than Windows 8 (depending on who you ask)

I mentioned it because it's actually gaining features to become more like a desktop OS than a mobile os. (Cornerstone, mouse and keyboard drivers, office suite apps, ...)
It is my honest belief that Android will one day become a leading desktop os, possibly overtaking linux, and certainly over windows.

Date check! It's 2013! Back in 95 Windows was conquering the PC's world.

Today it is the OS's listed under "Other" in the stats that are conquering (that is increasing) market share.
vjeremiah wrote: The Mac Operating system is only for Apple PC's.
Apple Inc. only allows you to install it on Apple hardware but it will run on any Intel x86 just fine.
vjeremiah wrote: The linux is a dummy one for many of the users.
Totally! Especially supercomputers are often filled with this obscure dummy operating system. Don't want to strain the resources of those supercomputers.

Do you even know what Linux is?!
vjeremiah wrote: Why there is no new operating system is arising to conquer the PC's world(Like windows)?.
Because why would people want to switch to a different new operating system? Will it out of nowhere support docs, Word, Outlook, Excel, Windows Media Player, MSM, and all the other "tools" that current users have in their operating system?
Will hardware manufacturer suddenly ship this new OS instead of Microsoft Windows? Which firm can pay the hardware manufacturers more than Microsoft?
vjeremiah wrote: Is more knowledge is needed to make a operating system like Windows?
Actually today we have too much knowledge to "make a operating system like Windows". Even Microsoft has and now is moving away from the single user everything executed with superuser rights paradigm.

But even back then the normal user didn't care. He was just told that extra software called anti-virus is necessary to make an operating system secure. He didn't know nor care that an operating system could be secure by design.
vjeremiah wrote: (OR)
The two options don't really exclude one another hence your (OR) is irrelevant.
vjeremiah wrote: Is many people is needed to make an Operating system who are having more knowledge?
There are dozens of operating systems currently made and all of them need more man power and more knowledgeable people but all this is irrelevant because the user decides what operating system to install not the quality of the operating system.

Anyway there are a lot of operating system: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_operating_systems
Just like there are other golfers besides Tiger Woods and other basketball players besides Michael Jordan. There are other operating systems besides Windows. But the mainstream does not care for them.

Depending on the point of view: Android is just Linux. ;)

But yeah it has increasing market share because on mobile devices there was a void. A void that could be filled with the backing of Google with Android. Now that users know that Linux/Android does not suck it might have a chance to also "jump over" to desktop computer. Unless we want to believe Steve Jobs' prediction that the desktop is soon to be extinct - replaced by tablets. In which case Microsoft will have a problem. Since it is slowly being pushed out of the (at least) government workstations, servers and only really prospers on home desktop PCs. But with Steam (a major video game thing) now being also available for Mac and Linux and normal users more and more moving to mobile devices such as tablets and TVs becoming smarter and smarter there might indeed be no more traditional PCs - that is personal computers - around to conquer.

As soon as you throw an OS X disc into an AMD computer you're gonna get a big fancy "nope" in the shape of kernel panic behaviour (fanciness depending on the stage of booting it's in), thereby disqualifying about a third of all x86 computers.

He explicitly said "Intel x86".

I'm betting that Mac doesn't even check to see if the hardware supports it before reading/writing random ports. It's meant to only run on macbooks giving apple a vendor lock in.

OS X is only designed to run on MacBooks? That'll come as a surprise to my Mac Mini Server!
